TAPCO designed a sign to be used in areas considered ecologically sensitive—including lands within the National Wildlife Refuge System. These signs can be used to mark the boundaries of the sensitive areas.
Benefits of a Baked Enamel Sign
A sign installed outdoors, regardless of the type of coating, substrate, or ink that is used, will weather in the sun. UV rays from the sun will eventually break down the binders that hold the pigments (colors) to the sign, which causes the sign to weather.
A sign with baked enamel finish hangs on longer because their bonds are stronger. In turn making the sign less susceptible to UV rays and lasts longer outdoors.
