TAPCO Marketing is a relatively new department for a company celebrating its 60th anniversary. Launched in 2010, TAPCO Marketing provides information to customers and employees across an entire range of products. With over 13,000 items, we are constantly adding new goods and services. We push these to a variety of resources: our annual 450+ full line catalog, our dedicated web-store (, as well as one of our many national distribution channels, including e-commerce, government contracts, and even Amazon store sales. TAPCO Marketing employs a dedicated photographer, a team of graphic designers, distributed product management, and devoted marketers for both online (inbound and outbound) and direct mail campaigns. The department also provides support for a number of TAPCO subsidiaries. With double digit growth and positioning to expand nationally, there is never a dull moment and plenty of opportunities for advancement.


TAPCO’s fast paced engineering environment offers a chance to design and develop products that protect the public. Two comprehensive medical plans offered. Eligible the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.

Access to preferred clinic

Our preferred clinic is a full spectrum medical care provider with 25 years of experience in health care. Locations are in West Allis and Sussex. Benefits of this program include personalized care, 24/7 online appointment scheduling, and no copay. Eligibility for this benefit is for those who elect our medical insurance plan.

Dental Insurance

Employee pays 50% of premium. Eligible the first of the month following 60 days full-time of employment.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

A FSA allows an employee to set aside a portion of their earnings to pay for qualified medical expenses and dependent care expenses. Money deducted from an employee’s pay into a FSA is not subject to payroll taxes, resulting in substantial payroll tax savings. Eligible the first of the month following 60 days full-time of employment.

Wellness Plan

We offer a robust Wellness Plan that promotes healthy lifestyles, decreases the risk of disease, and enhances the quality of life. Our plan consists of interactive online resources, free biometric screening and health assessments, and friendly health challenges at no additional costs to our employees.

Salary and Retirement Savings

Annual Performance and Salary Reviews

TAPCO offers competitive wages with annual performance and salary reviews every year in January.

401k Retirement Savings

TAPCO matches $.50 for each dollar of your contributions up to the first 6% of pay. You must be 21 years of age to participate. New employees are eligible the first of the month following 90 days of full-time employment. Enrollment is monthly.

401k Profit Sharing Bonus

Based on profitability and paid yearly into the 401k plan for plan participants.

Gain Sharing Bonus

Based on profitability and paid yearly to full-time employees.

Tuition Reimbursement

TAPCO recognizes the value of continuing education and encourages and supports employees who want to further enhance their knowledge and skills through continued learning. We offer tuition reimbursement to provide financial support to employees so they can continue to grow and develop their career with TAPCO.

Life and Accident Insurance

Basic life insurance of $50,000 and Accidental Death and Dismemberment of $50,000 no cost to employee. Employees can purchase additional life insurance; cost varies. Eligible the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.

Disability Insurance

Employees have the option to purchase short and long term disability insurance for a minimal premium rate. Eligible the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.
