ABOUT US

Since 1956, TAPCO has provided standard and custom traffic safety and parking solutions to every level of government, as well as private businesses, across the United States, Canada and beyond to fulfill its mission of ensuring safe travels for all.

TAPCO is headquartered in Brown Deer, Wisconsin, with two additional locations in the Midwest and dedicated members of the TAPCO team in every U.S. region.

COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE PLANS

Health Insurance
Three comprehensive medical plans are offered. Employees are eligible the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.

Access To Preferred Clinic
Our preferred clinic is a full-spectrum medical care provider with 25 years of experience and locations in both West Allis and Sussex, Wisconsin. The clinic provides personalized care and 24/7 online appointment scheduling. Plus, there’s no copay. Eligibility for this benefit depends on electing our medical insurance plan.

Dental Insurance
Employees pay 50 percent of the premium and are eligible the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.

Vision Insurance
Employees pay 50 percent of the premium and are eligible the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
An FSA allows employees to set aside a portion of their earnings to pay for qualified medical expenses and dependent care expenses, and that money is not subject to payroll taxes. Employees are eligible the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.

Wellness Plan
TAPCO offers a robust wellness plan that promotes healthy lifestyles via interactive online resources, free biometric screenings and friendly health challenges, all at no additional cost.

TAPCO offers a competitive paid vacation and personal time package, on top of ten paid holidays each year.

Annual Performance and Salary Reviews
TAPCO offers competitive wages with annual salary and performance reviews.

401(k) Retirement Savings
TAPCO matches salary deferrals dollar for dollar up to 5 percent of employees’ salary, and employees are 100% vested on their first day of contribution. Employees 21 years and older are eligible, and eligibility begins the first day of the month after 90 days of employment.

Gain-Sharing Bonus
Full-time employees qualify for quarterly bonuses paid out based on achievement of established company-wide goals.

Tuition Reimbursement
Partial tuition reimbursement is available to full-time employees who have worked for TAPCO for at least nine months.

Life and Accident Insurance
Basic life insurance of $50,000 and accidental death and dismemberment insurance of $50,000 are offered at no cost to employees, and additional life insurance is available for purchase. Employees are eligible the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.

Disability Insurance
Short-term and long-term disability insurance is offered at a low premium rate, and employees are eligible the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.
