LegendViz® features highly visible, LED-illuminated legends shown to increase sign legibility distance by as much as 100 percent compared to standard signs, according to a closed-course driver trial and statistical analysis by the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI).
In addition, all signs:
- Feature dusk-to-dawn legend illumination
- Provide enhanced sign legibility without retroreflectivity or headlights

LegendViz® Sign Legibility Study
A nighttime, closed-course study by the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) involving standard traffic signs, traditional BlinkerSigns and LegendViz® BlinkerSigns revealed there was “strong statistical evidence” that the LegendViz® BlinkerSigns increased sign legibility distance.
When placed on the right side of the road from the driver’s point of view, LegendViz® BlinkerSigns provided a 267 percent increase in legibility distance over standard signs.
