RADAR DETECTION
Radar sensors are mounted on the first system pole to trigger the system to activate based on predetermined criteria:
- Vehicle Activated - Triggers system activation when vehicle approaches curve
- Speed Activated - Triggers system activation when vehicle exceeds predetermined speed threshold and can adjust speeds based on vehicle classification
- Speed With Classification Activated - Triggers system activation when vehicles approaching the curve are exceeding the predetermined speed for their vehicles’ classification
