These barricades are constructed of hollow molded plastic for internal ballasting with sand or other materials to add weight. All the ballasting weight goes directly to the bottom of the barricade, which makes them stable in the wind, yet easier to knock over without damage to the barricade.

Features:

• Corners are rounded and smooth to prevent cuts and pinching.
• Recessed reflective panels keep reflective sheeting safe when skidding on the roadway if unit is struck.
• Engineer grade reflective sheeting is standard.
• Other sheeting grades are available on request.

These barricades feature legs with a spring-loaded detent mechanism that keeps the unit in a rigid vertical position. Upon impact, it locks the unit flat. The reflective sheeting is mounted flat for direct visual warning, and is recessed to protect it from nicks and scratches. All corners and edges are smooth and rounded for safe handling.

Features:

• Reflective sheeting is mounted on thin, inexpensive plastic panels and is easily replaced, saving the barricade stand
• Standard models are sheeted with Engineer Grade, except for the SHRP arrow which uses Diamond Grade sheeting

Barricade boards are available with Engineer Grade barricade sheeting on one or both sides.

The A-Frame Legs will accommodate one or two boards. To build the barricade of your choosing, order two A-Frame legs with any combination of boards.

To build the barricade of your choosing, order two A-Frame legs with any combination of panels. Panels are available with or without Engineer Grade barricade sheeting. Refer to table below.

A-Frame legs have a built-in hinge, and are supplied with a pin so you may lock two legs together to form a Type I or Type II barricade, as shown at right. Order panels or a warning sign to attach to the hinged leg assembly.

Type III barricades can be purchased as assembled units or component parts. Legs and boards can be purchased separately.

All barricade components are interchangeable. Plywood boards are painted white and can accommodate reflective sheeting on both sides of the boards. Breakaway Type III Works Barricade is available using Unistrut’s Telespar tubing with breakaway base, bracket and detachable feet.

Barricade model: 8 feet wide and greater includes a anti-rotation stabilizer bar between uprights for increased stability.

Breakaway base yields to impacting vehicles. Easily detachable feet allow for efficient transportation, assembly and storage.
