In construction areas, Type III barricades shall be erected at the points of closure. They may extend completely across a roadway from curb to curb. The sides of barricades facing traffic shall have retroreflective rail faces.
When provision must be made for access of equipment and authorized vehicles, Type II barricades should be movable.4-foot folding barricades can be used to hold signs and to provide maximum portability.
