The 600 Series Poles are constructed of air-entrained concrete with a minimum of 5/8" coverage over eight 5/16" prestressed cables and 11 gauge galvanized spiral wrap. The spun raceway has a minimum diameter of 1-1/2", allowing ample space to run wiring.
The poles are reinforced even further by adding fibers to the concrete mix. Rigid steel is added along the ground line and in potential vehicle impact areas, to resist bumper damage when placed near curbs or in parking lots.
Direct burial poles eliminate the high material and labor costs of site-poured concrete foundations and expensive anchor bolts.
