License Plate Inventory
The License Plate Inventory (LPI) System provides complete inventory control with on-line exit cashiering systems. The system is used to record and track vehicles entering and exiting a lot or ramp and provides a secure revenue control environment. When a vehicle exits the facility, the cashier enters the license plate number of the vehicle into the LPI Auditor Fee Computer. The LPI Auditor sends this information to the SCAN System which compares the current inventory with the previously recorded inventory to determine the total number of days the vehicle was parked. Concise management reports may be viewed on the computer screen or printed out and include vehicle location reports, illegally parked vehicle reports, missing vehicle reports, and a priority "Hot" list that flags a vehicle for special attention.

LPI Hand Held Inventory Device The ergonomically designed device is used for gathering and assembling license plate data from vehicles parked in the facility. An attendant simply records the license numbers into the field unit-either as the vehicle enters the facility or collects the license plate number of each vehicle by location (usually performed once daily/nightly; more frequently in heavy turnover facilities). This information may be subdivided by lot, area, row and space number.
The LPI Hand Held Inventory Device provides on-line data management. After the attendant has completed the license plate inventory, the inventory is transferred to the powerful SCAN LPI Inventory System. This pc-based data management system provides computer tracking and control of the license plate records.
