Key Operated Access Devices
Key switches are used for single door or gate stand-alone simple access control into apartment buildings, gated communities, condominiums, office buildings, factories and industrial sites.

Some models use a mortise cylinder that can be re-keyed by a locksmith to match existing door locks, while others use an ACE key cylinder to provide a higher level of security.

Model Choices

Models with momentary contact to activate a door lock or gate operator
Models that maintain a constant contact to hold open a door or gate.
Model with the mortise cylinder plus a built in intercom sub-station, 8ohm speaker and "push-to-talk" switch that can be connected to an existing intercom system to provide voice communication.

Provides Fire Department and Postal Carrier access through automated gates or doors. Fire Department box is painted bright red for easy visibility. Easy installation and connection, boxes can be surface or post mounted. Access door has a hole for a standard padlock which can be removed by emergency personnel. Gate opens automatically when lock is removed and door opens. Ample room inside for additional access control devices or keys. Blank label inside door provides space for written instructions.

Mounting posts are available in two distinct styles; architectural and standard. The architectural posts are typically used with the larger telephone entry systems while the standard posts are used with card readers, keypads and smaller access control devices. A dual-height style is also available for applications that have both vehicular and truck traffic using the system. This style mounting post provides two different heights to attach the access control device to. All mounting posts are finished in a baked-on enamel finish.
