Regulations
In
addition to the already required ADA handicap signage, all public, commercial
and private parking lots must have a "Van Accessible" sign.
One of every eight spaces is required to have an eight-foot aisle to accommodate
van users. Where spaces share access aisles, it is recommended that both
spaces served by the eight-foot aisle be designated as "van-accessible".
The number of Handicap signs and Van Accessible spaces required is as
