Vehicle count accuracy is one of the most critical functions of a parking operation. Our count control systems can be used with large or small parking facilities to monitor inbound and outbound traffic lanes.

EDC-IOOO Differential Counter
Vehicle count accuracy is one of the most critical functions of a parking operation, and the Model EDC-I000 Differential Counter automatically maintains accurate counts of facility, monthly, or transient parking spaces, taking the guesswork out of count control.

It accepts simultaneous counts from inbound and outbound traffic lanes at a counting speed of ISO impulses per second, updating and indicating the number of spaces are still available. When all the spaces are filled, the counter displays "0", illuminates the Full Sign and deactivates the Ticket Spitler. When a specific level is filled in a multi-level garage, that level's Differential Counter would activate either the Full Sign or a directional sign guiding parkers to the nearest available space.

Status Scanner
The Status Scanner provides accurate counts of transient-and/or monthly parkers- A wide range of monitoring functions are possible, including ticket in chute, ticket low, gate up, car presence alarm, and other controls. The Status Scanner may be custom built for your specific application with any number of features, including multiple differential counters, anti-coincidence packages (with 1-5,6-10, or 11-20 inputs), resettable and non-resettable totalizing counters, timers, and more.

Ramp Controller 2
The Ramp Controller 2 (RC2) is a multi-functional parking control device capable of tracking either one-way or two-way traffic on internal lanes and ramps in a parking facility. By monitoring traffic flow at strategic points, the RC2 provides the central management system with the data necessary to maintain an accurate, real time vehicle inventory for each of the facility's parking areas, lots and zones. Ramp controllers help to direct traffic into or away from parking areas by to maintain the fullest possible occupancy along with the highest possible revenues from your parking enterprise.

Various lane configurations can support as many as five uni-directional lanes, two bi-directional lanes, or a combination of the two. The I/O Ports are mappable using a PDA. Vehicle counts (forward and reverse), loop status and system status are transmitted to ScanNet. The Central Management System remotely controls the "full" signs, which are operated by the RC2.

Five mappable vehicle detectors monitor up to two bi-directional lanes or five uni-directional lanes.
Controls up to four high voltage relays,such as Federal APD's "Full" Signs at 11S/220V.
8 digital outputs (pulsed or latched) are mappable for various lane control, such as "Full" Signs or counters.
Communicates counts, loop and device status for each lane to the ScanNet Central Management System.
