Galvanized Parking Stall Protector
Designed to reserve individual car park bays. When erected the post prevents unauthorized access and provides control without the need for supervision. Only the unauthorized user’s key will release the locking mechanism, allowing the post to be lowered and thus enabling the vehicle to pass over it. In some situations it is possible to site the post so that it can be re-erected when the space is occupied, thereby acting as an added vehicle theft deterrent. The hinged lockable post features an integral cylinder lock and a totally enclosed locking mechanism.

To erect, simply raise the post to the vertical position and apply a moderate downward pressure to the top of the post. This will secure the post within the base plate recess. The key is not required to lock the post. To lower, release the locking mechanism with the key and lower the post. The post is lockable in the up and the down position.

Self-Powered Remote Control Barrier

This barrier is a self-contained, remote controlled barrier. It economically restricts unauthorized access to parking spaces, driveways and access
ramps, while providing the convenience of remote control to authorized vehicles.

Installation is simple and fast: no digging or major site preparation is required. The barrier is mounted on the surface of the parking space or driveway using bolts or a highway-grade adhesive.

This self-powered barrier uses a proprietary method of capturing energy from the vehicle’s weight and storing the power to lower and raise the barrier on command. This eliminates the need to connect the device to an electrical power source, as well as the bulk of batteries required with solar panel recharging panels.

The energy storage system and the electronics that manage it are sealed in a rugged housing (“PowerPod”), to resist water, debris and harsh conditions. A second housing (“IdlePod”), without active components, is mounted on the other end of the barrier, acting as a bearing.

The barrier has a standard length of 43" and stands 16.5" tall when raised.
A “Reserved” reflective label is affixed to the front of the barrier. If excessive
force is applied to the barrier, a safety mechanism acts to disengage the
barrier from the PowerPod. This prevents internal damage to the pod mechanism, to the barrier itself and protects the bases from being pulled off the driveway should excessive force be applied to the barrier. A disengaged barrier will automatically re-engage when the force is removed.
This barrier is supplied with two radio transmitters.

The system can accommodate up to 15 transmitters. The radio receiver in the barrier is powered by replaceable Alkaline “D” batteries with a life of over 1 year.
