Electronic signs offer a simple, yet effective means of controlling parking entrance lane access and exit lane communication. When activated, the bright neon FULL sign lights up to indicate that the lot or deck is full and no parking spaces are available. Other sign messages include fare, time and Thank You messages. Designed to withstand the harsh environments found in parking facilities, the signs are constructed from heavy gauge aluminum with a element-resistant finish. An impact resistant Plexiglas lens protects the neon tube, while a sun shield ensures that the message can be easily read in bright sunlight. Two one-inch louvers help dissipate the heat without interfering with the sign's visibility in any way.

Electronic signs may be activated manually via a push-button control, or may be activated automatically by a number of control devices, including the gate's controller logic (with built-in counting features), or by a Federal APD count control system. For on-line, communicating parking facilities, the Federal APD MiniSCAN System or SCAN System automatically activates the full sign at a pre- programmed count level. When automatically activated, the transientand/or monthly devices (such as ticket dispenser and card reader) may be programmed to be deactivated to prevent parkers from gaining access.

The full sign may be mounted directly onto the parking barrier gate controller, or may be mounted on a 42 inch pedestal stand, which is located in the entrance lane.
