In March, Owen Brezitski was walking with his family in front of Bishop McDevitt High School when he was struck by a car.

Brezitski, an 8-year-old described as a child who everyone loved to be around, was killed from the injuries he sustained in the accident.

On Friday, new LED crosswalk signs were unveiled, warning drivers of the crosswalk. A foundation has been started in the wake of Owen’s death, called Owen’s Foundation: Be Alert, Slow Down and Save a Life.
