FlexiSIGN-PRO
is designed and engineered to be the total solution for any sign shop.
It enables you to complete all your design work, from scanning and tracing
to lettering and logo design. It features object linking and embedding,
editing, and all special effects, along with full vinyl cutting and color
printing features. It includes djrect drivers for popular inkjet, thermal

Design
Central always at your fingertips
Design Central is a floating palette of tools and options that change
based on the object you select or the command you perform. It allows you
to work numerically or visually with your design. As you change parameters
within DesignCentral, the design is instantly updated. You can also adjust
the
design with special QuickHandles on screen, which instantly update the
values in DesignCentral. DesignCentral is like a personal helper - it
shows all essential information such as size, rotation and position, plus
it even has a built in calculator so you can do basic math or unit conversion.
When you are done with DesignCentral it can be Window shaded or closed. |

Easy Text Manipulation
Flexi
has full support for TrueType and PostScript (ATM) fonts. When you select
a font in DesignCentral a preview is shown in that font. Text can be typed
horizontally, vertically, on an arc or even on a path. Arc text can be
easily typed on the top and bottom of the arc without any complicated
editing.

Unlimited Effects
Effects can be applied, modified or removed from objects. Text
with a drop shadow can be adjusted to have a block shadow without having
to retype the text. Effects include Weld, Cut Out, Fuse, Separate Overlap,
Lens, Stripe, Inline/Outline, Contour, Distortion, Shadow, Color Trapping
and Blending. All effects are applied on screen so you can preview them
as you change parameters within DesignCentral. Special QuickHandles on
the effect let you adjust the effect visually on screen.

QuickEdit
QuickEdit is an amazing and time saving feature. It allows you to edit
objects at any time and simultaneously updates any applied effects. Text
which is welded can still be modified or even spell checked without destroying
the weld.
Bitmap
to Vector Conversion
Flexi’s Bitmap Editing features make it convenient to clean up poor
quality scans. Powerful Autotracing make it easy to convert a bitmap image
into a cuttable image. Advanced Path Editing tools allow you to precisely
align path, sharpen corners and more. Flexi even has Autotrace tools that
can Centerline trace, Color trace, or PictureCut trace. PictureCut
will convert a photographic image into strips that can be cut in vinyl.
Superb
Color Control
Flexi includes tools to make it easy to get the color you want. The Eye
Dropper tool can sample color from anywhere in the design and apply that
color to a new object. Built in vinyl color libraries enhance color accuracy
by allowing you to choose actual vinyl colors from over 25 different manufacturers.
With the Preview CMYK feature, you can preview the output color on screen
without having to print the image. The Measure Color option allows you
to use a spectrophotometer to measure any color to use within the design.
Power
Production
Flexi comes with Production Manager, which includes the most extensive
set of built in drivers in the industry. Drivers are included for vinyl
cutters, large format printers, and hybrid devices. Production Manager
can be configured to receive jobs from Flexi workstations on a network,
even cross-platform. Automatic tiling allows jobs larger than the output
device to be made in strips that can be assembled, and the program allows
you to specify the overlap between the strips to avoid butt joints. Flexi
includes an interactive cutter control to precisely position the design
on the vinyl. You can even setup certain cutter parameters within Flexi,
such as Force and Speed. If you forget to weld your text before cutting
you can take advantage of Auto-weld. Auto-weld will automatically weld
overlapping objects together to remove unneeded cuts.

Adobe® PostScript® 3™ RIP
FlexiSIGN-PRO and FlexiSIGN-Plus include a true Adobe® PostScript®
3™ RIP engine so you can output large format digital prints. Flexi’s
Color Modeling Engine produces accurate, photorealistic color with industry
standard ICC color profiles. Advanced dithering methods and multiple rendering
intents ensure high quality output. |
