You can also adjust
the design with special QuickHandles on screen, which instantly update the values in
DesignCentral. DesignCentral is like a personal helper – it shows all essential information such as
size, rotation and position, plus it even has a built in calculator so you can do basic math or unit
conversion. When you are done with DesignCentral it can be window-shaded or closed.Easy Text Manipulation
TAPCO T.I.P.S. features full support for TrueType and PostScript (ATM) fonts, including the
Standard Highway Alphabets (included on TAPCO’s SignSourcer™ CD). When you select a font in
DesignCentral, a preview is shown in that font. Text can be typed horizontally, vertically, on an arc
or even on a path. Arc text can be easily typed on the top and bottom of the arc without any
complicated editing.
Unlimited Effects
Effects can be applied, modified or removed from objects. Effects include Weld, Cut Out, Fuse,
Separate Overlap, Lens, Stripe, Inline/Outline, Contour, Distortion, Shadow, Color Trapping and
Blending. All effects are applied on screen so you can preview them as you change parameters
within DesignCentral. QuickHandles on the effect let you adjust the effect visually on screen.
QuickEdit
QuickEdit is an amazing and time-saving feature. It allows you to edit objects at any time and
simultaneously updates any applied effects. Text which is welded can still be modified or even spell
checked without destroying the weld.
Bitmap to Vector Conversion
Bitmap Editing features make it convenient to clean up poor quality scans. Powerful autotracing
makes it easy to convert a bitmap image into a cuttable image. Advanced path editing tools allow
you to precisely align path, sharpen corners, centerline trace, color trace, or picturecut trace.
Picturecut will convert a photographic image into strips that can be cut in vinyl.
Superb Color Control
Flexi includes tools to make it easy to get the color you want. The Eye Dropper tool can sample
color from anywhere in the design and apply that color to a new object. Built in vinyl color
libraries enhance color accuracy by allowing you to choose actual vinyl colors from over 25
different manufacturers. With the Preview CMYK feature, you can preview the output color on
screen without having to print the image.
True Adobe® PostScript® 3™ RIP
The PRO and Plus versions include a true Adobe® PostScript® 3™ RIP engine so you can output
large format digital prints. Flexi’s Color Modeling Engine produces accurate, photorealistic color
with industry standard ICC color profiles. Advanced dithering methods and multiple rendering
